GRL Engineers, Inc. Names Joel Webster, P.E., as North Carolina Branch Manager
GRL Engineers, Inc. is pleased to announce the promotion of Joel Webster, P.E., to North Carolina Branch Manager. Since joining GRL in 2017, Joel has made significant contributions to the company, playing a key role in testing and analysis for high-profile projects such as: the I-85/I-385 Interchange in Greenville, SC; the Charlotte Gateway Station Project in Charlotte, NC; and the I-85 Business over Buffington Road Bridge replacement in Spartanburg, SC. His expertise includes high strain dynamic testing, integrity testing, and load testing services, both domestically and for offshore projects.
Before joining GRL Engineers, Joel honed his skills as a structural engineer with Tower Engineering Professionals in Charlotte, North Carolina. He holds a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from NC State University and a M.S.E. in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Geotechnical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Joel is a registered Professional Engineer in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia and holds a Master Level certification for the PDA Proficiency Exam.
