Houston International Insurance Group Announces Acquisition of Compass Group

Houston International Insurance Group (HIIG) announced today that it had reached an agreement to acquire Compass Group Partners, LLC (Compass), a managing general underwriter based in Fort Myers, Florida. Compass specializes in Title Agents and Insurance Agents E&O Liability.

Gary R. Dittman founded Compass in 2010 and will continue to manage the operation after the transaction closes. The business will be operated as the Compass division of HIIG Professional and will complement its existing business of Miscellaneous E&O, Lawyers, Community Banks and Allied Health.
