A Quick, Economical Method to Install Timber Piles Under Existing Structures

Necessity has always been the mother of invention and Super Storm Sandy produced the mother lode of necessity. Thousands of homes along the East Coast of the USA were damaged in the storm. In order to restore those homes and make them safe for the future, it will be necessary to raise them above the new high water mark set by the government. Houses built on timber piles present an especially difficult challenge because increasing the length or height of an existing timber pile has always been impractical and very expensive.

Our system was developed specifically to solve this problem. It is now possible to make very strong and attractive timber pile splices quickly and economically. Because our patented equipment is able to plane the butt ends of timber piles into a perfect cylinder, additional accessories and fittings for many other uses were developed. We are especially proud of our fittings used to place bridge jacks and steel beams atop timber piles, something previously impossible to accomplish. Rehabilitating old timber pile structures and bridges is now simpler, stronger and more economical.
