Marine Infrastructure Live is Now Infrastructure Repair Live!

The construction is over. QuakeWrap, Inc. has officially relaunched its industry podcast under a new name, Infrastructure Repair Live. The updated title reflects a broader focus that goes beyond marine projects to include bridges, culverts, pipelines, and other critical infrastructure in need of repair and strengthening.

For years, Marine Infrastructure Live brought engineers and contractors into the field with founder and FRP pioneer Professor Mo Ehsani. The show offered insights into fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) solutions for deteriorating structures and featured real-world case studies from QuakeWrap’s projects. The new Infrastructure Repair Live continues that mission with an expanded scope.

New Episode: Innovations in Culvert Rehabilitation

The latest release, Innovations in Culvert Rehabilitation: Wet Layup & StifPipe (Part 1), explores advanced FRP repair methods designed to extend the life of aging culverts without costly replacements.

Listeners will learn how Wet Layup FRP is applied inside box culverts to restore structural integrity, prevent corrosion, and reduce traffic disruption. The episode also compares the process with traditional repair methods and shares examples where these solutions have saved time and money for owners and municipalities.

Continuing Coverage of Structural Repair

QuakeWrap’s ongoing series will continue to feature the company’s key technologies, including SPiRe+, PileMedic, and SuperLaminate systems. Each episode gives professionals a closer look at how composite materials are being used to modernize and strengthen critical infrastructure worldwide.

Recent topics have included the testing of SPiRe+ panels for concrete repair and a field report from Chevron’s jetty project in Colombia, where PileMedic was used to rehabilitate more than 120 piles. The company also showcased the repair of corroded seawalls and bulkheads in Weston, Florida, using its newly patented SPiRe+ system.
