SteelWall Connectors: Building Stronger, Smarter Steel Sheet Pile Walls

In steel sheet pile construction, the connector is what turns individual piles into a structural system. From corners and T-walls to high-capacity combi walls, performance depends on how well the interlocks transfer load, manage alignment, and withstand tension.

SteelWall ISH GmbH has developed one of the most complete connector ranges in the industry, covering Larssen, ball and socket, combi wall, flat sheet, and cold-formed sheet pile systems.

For standard Larssen walls, SteelWall offers corner, omega, T, cross, and weld-on connectors manufactured from S355J2 and ASTM 572 Grade 50 steel. These profiles are available in multiple thicknesses and lengths, allowing engineers to match the connector to wall geometry and loading conditions.

For higher loads and combi walls, the LPB and MF connector families provide significantly increased tensile capacity. The MF ball and socket system is designed for pipe piles, H-piles, and combi walls and allows controlled rotation while maintaining high axial strength. Specialized MF connectors are also available for down-the-hole driving methods.

SteelWall also supports large-section walls through the MDF and MZ systems, which include tolerance-compensating connectors for long wall alignments. For North American projects, SteelWall manufactures a full line of US ball and socket connectors. Flat sheet and cold-formed systems are supported through the FSC and CF connector ranges.
