Malcolm Expands Services Across North America

MalcolmDrilling

Local and national experts now available for all projects

San Francisco, CA – Industry demand for ground improvement technologies like soil mixing, jet grouting, and vibro compaction along with slurry wall construction continues to increase as more projects are built on sites with less-than-optimal subsurface conditions. Malcolm Drilling, Inc., has been deploying these advanced technologies since the late 1990s, with our first foray into deep soilmix systems.

Since then, Malcolm has continued to expand its suite of ground improvement and specialty deep foundation services, including continuous flight auger drilled shafts from 18- to 48-inches in diameter, constructed to depths exceeding 150 feet, and the fully cased oscillator methods of constructing drilled shafts.

Malcolm is pleased to announce the national expansion of our ground improvement technologies through regional offices across the country: Northern California(Hayward), Southern California (Irwindale), Southeast (Fort Lauderdale, FL), Northwest (Kent, WA), Midwest (Oak Creek, WI) and Mountain West (Salt Lake City, UT).  Each office will now service Malcolm’s complete suite of deep foundation, earth retention, and ground improvement competencies.

“This expansion will streamline our operations and bring our full expertise closer to our clients,” said Alan Rasband, Malcolm’s President and Chief Operating Officer.

Malcolm was one of the first construction firms to bring fully cased drilled shaft and cutter soil mixing technology to North America. Malcolm’s engineering capability and its modern fleet of equipment and tools has positioned Malcolm to expand the limits of what’s possible in the geo-construction industry for all its clients.
