INTERVIEW: Meever Foundation Equipment

PB: What and who is Meever Foundation Equipment? 

Meever: Meever Foundation Equipment is the result of two companies combining forces: Meever USA and Foundation Equipment Services. Both have obtained their name in the market by delivering quality products and service over the last several years, and we believe that with the commitment of the two companies Meever Foundation Equipment will proceed as the reliable equipment provider on the American foundation market.

Foundation Equipment Services is experienced in various kinds of rental equipment, machine restorations & general maintenances. We understand the critical role that robust machinery plays in the deep foundation industry. This includes vibratory techniques, impact hammers, drilling equipment and presses. With our expertise in machine maintenance and restoration, customers can trust that equipment arrives onsite in safe and reliable working condition.

PB: How did this collaboration start? 

Meever: Meever USA is the one-stop-shop for your deep foundation project. We are the exclusive distributor of hot rolled ESZ sheet piles, we produce our own cold formed sheets, we distribute pipe, beams, anchor systems, we added the mechanical Meever Bracing system to our array of products, and in 2024 we were ready to take the next step: the equipment to install our product.

Youri van Zoelen and Justin Feder realized how much both companies’ values align, and what synergy a partnership between the two would bring. As we were both aware of each other’s ambitions and companies’ growth, the idea to partner up was worked up. For that reason, we decided to start this business together and bring our equipment to the market as one.

PB: What exactly are the products/equipment we are talking about? 

Meever: Meever Foundation Equipment will be your supplier for piling rigs, vibratory techniques, impact hammers, excavator mounted hammers, side grips and drills.

PB: Rumor has it that Meever Foundation Equipment will become an exclusive dealer in the US of Müller equipment, is that correct? 

Meever: Rumors go fast, but we can hereby confirm that this partnership has become official recently! In 2025 Muller Meever will start doing business in the US as the exclusive dealer of Müllers vibratory techniques in the US market with several units arriving as we speak. Realizing this so fast confirms that the US market is ready for us. We are excited about this joint venture.

PB: What separates Meever Foundation Equipment in the market?

Meever: We offer the one-stop-shop solution with a focus on providing the best technical service. 

PB: You offer these machines for rent, is there a minimum or maximum to the rental period? 

Meever: Besides the rental of our machines, we also rent out our steel products, take for example our sheet piles. With all these rental materials we don’t have a minimum or maximum rental period, but we do create the most beneficial solution for our customer. Take for example the rental of sheet piles for a longer period of time. When our team of specialists see the opportunity for a buy-back agreement we will always propose this solution. 

PB: What is a buy-back option? 

Meever: A buy-back option includes us selling the product to our customer and buying it back as soon as they are done for an upon agreed price.

PB: This sounds like an environmentally solution for many projects? 

Meever: It really is! Not only will it save our customer a lot of its budget, but we can reuse the steel that is used. We expand the lifetime of our products significantly.

PB: Since you are concerned about the environment, how do you apply this to the machines? 

Meever: With our machines we also focus on the environment and in many ways we are able to contribute to lowering emissions output. For instance, our ABIs feature an advanced control system that intelligently adjusts engine and hydraulic pump performance based on the required load. This optimization significantly improves fuel efficiency, reduces diesel consumption, and lowers overall carbon emissions, helping to minimize the environmental impact of each operation.

PB: What is the operation area of Meever Foundation Equipment? 

Meever: We operate throughout whole northern America and can be called for all kinds of areas of projects: from shoring to deep foundation. Wherever we can help out, we will.

PB: Will we see more of Meever Foundation Equipment soon?

Meever: Yes, we have just begun and are already working on expanding our rental fleet, resulting in an even better (and complete) service to our customers. So, you’ll definitely see more of us soon.
