Borusan Pipe US is proud to announce a significant expansion of our Baytown, TX campus, boosting our pipe production capacity from 300,000 tons to 400,000 tons with the addition of a state-of-the-art ERW SRM pipe mill to produce ½” up to 3″ OD NPS pipe. This latest investment underscores our commitment to delivering innovative solutions and high-quality products to a wide range of industries.

Expanding Our Reach

Our enhanced facility broadens our existing Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG) and Line Pipe operations with a versatile new mill. This addition enables us to serve the Standard Pipe, Fire Sprinkler and Mechanical Tube markets and extends our OCTG range to include Tubing sizes 2-3/8” up to 3-1/2”.  As a result, Borusan Pipe US can now supply specialized pipes for machinery production, pressure applications, and mechanical installations, including Federal and State projects requiring “Melted and Manufactured in the USA” products. Furthermore, our expanded offerings address the growing needs of the construction and general industry sectors, ensuring reliable and compliant pipe solutions.

Introducing “Pure Thread” Pipe Solutions

We are pleased to introduce our Pure Thread™ branded pipe, now in stock at our Baytown, TX campus in both 21-ft and 10-ft lengths:

• ½” thru 3″ OD NPS SCH40 ASTM A53/ASME SA53, Type E, Grade A and Grade B
  • Black Plain End 21-ft (BPE)
  • Black Threaded & Coupled 21-ft (T&C)
  • Black Threaded Both Ends 10-ft (TBE)
• ½” thru 3″ OD NPS SCH80 ASTM A53/ASME SA53, Type E, GRA and GRB
  • Black Plain End 21-ft (BPE)

Each Pure steel pipe is manufactured at our ERW Stretch Reduced Mill (SRM) in Baytown, TX, with full UL and FM certifications. Enhanced by our proprietary AMC (antimicrobial coating) and our durable Black UV Light Cured Coating—branded as “Pure UV Coat”—our products are built to last.

Commitment to Domestic Quality

Borusan Pipe US proudly uses only domestically produced hot-rolled steel coils for all pipes made to ASTM specifications. This ensures our Pure steel pipes meet “Melted & Manufactured in the USA” (M&M in the USA) standards.

Future Expansions & Availability

• Coming Q3 2025:
  • 1″ – 3″ OD NPS ASTM A135/A795 BPE Grade A: SCH10 Black Roll Grooved Ends (BGE).
  • SCH10 pipe is currently available as Black Plain End (BPE) on a roll-to-order basis.
• By May–June 2025:
  • ERW 4″ – 12″ NPS SCH40 BPE GRB in Single Random Length (SRL) and Double Random Length (DRL).
• Custom Orders:
  • Special sizes, lengths, wall thicknesses, surface treatments, and tolerances are available with a 60–75-day lead time.
