ALL Aerials Adds 60 New JLG Boom Lifts to Fleet
Majority of units meet demand for popular 60- to 86-foot height range
CLEVELAND, October 22, 2014 — ALL Aerials, a standalone division of the ALL Family of Companies, has added to their fleet with a major package purchase of 60 new JLG aerial lifts: a mix of telescopic boom lifts and articulating boom lifts to meet increasing customer needs. Of note, 40 of the 60 units are in the 60- to 86-foot height range, the “sweet spot” that is heavily in demand in mills, processing, general industrial, and the booming vertical construction markets.
All of the machines are equipped with the JLG SkyPower® system that delivers power to the man basket through an integrated power cable. This is ideal when using power tools or hand tools for such jobs as welding and cutting steel. For extra reliability, all of the machines have foam-filled tires, eliminating flats.
The package of 60 units includes (49) JLG telescopic boom lifts and (11) JLG articulating boom lifts, specifically: (6) model 400S telescopic boom lifts and (4) model 460SJ telescopic boom lifts; (14) model 600S telescopic boom lifts and (6) model 660SJ telescopic boom lifts; (5) model 800S telescopic boom lifts and (4) model 860SJ telescopic boom lifts; (4) model 1200SJP telescopic boom lifts and (6) model 1350SJP telescopic boom lifts; and (6) model 600AJ articulating boom lifts and (5) model 800AJ articulating boom lifts.
For comparison, the SJ and AJ models are a bit longer than the comparable S or A models, and come equipped with an optional jib attachment (6 or 8 feet, depending on the model) with vertical rotation of approximately 130 degrees, allowing additional flexibility and the ability to move up and over edges of structures. Topping off the group, the 1200SJP and 1350SJP telescopic boom models feature platform heights of more than 120 feet, horizontal outreach of 75 to 80 feet, and a 1,000-pound capacity in the restricted working envelope (500 pounds in the unrestricted working envelope).
“Adding this number and variety of lifts to the fleet will enhance ALL’s availability to work in high-demand and surging markets. Our customers in refineries, mills, and construction have a great need for the flexibility and durability JLG lifts can provide,” says Michael Liptak, president of the ALL Family of Companies. “We continually manage our fleet to ensure we have the best machines for our customers.”
Many of these units have already been received, with the balance due by mid-November. They will be headed for 13 ALL branches, including Nitro, West Virginia, and to locations in and around Chicago, in Indiana, and throughout the Midwest. Many of these machines have already been rented, so they will be inspected, inventoried, and headed immediately to work as part of North America’s leading fleet of lift equipment.
ALL Aerials not only sells and rents new and used lifts, they also provide maintenance, parts, and service for all of the aerial equipment they rent and sell; that’s a dedication to service excellence that sets ALL apart from the rest.
