PilePro V20 T Connector for Sheet Pile Corner Connections

The PilePro V20 T corner connector is designed for contractors working with hot rolled Larssen and cold formed sheet pile. It can be used in reusable or permanent applications, making it a flexible option for sheet pile walls that require corners, T connections, or changes in direction.

The connector covers 90% of hot rolled or cold formed connection needs and fits most cold formed sections as well as all hot rolled Larssen sections, including AZ, NZ, ZZ, Z-Pile HR, and Z-Pile CF.

Connection Options

The V20 T supports two-way connections with approximate angles from 20 degrees to 160 degrees. It can be used as a V20-type corner connector, Omega-type corner connector, CF 90, or CF TEE.

For projects that require a change in direction, the connector can also be used for three-way connections.

Material Options

The V20 T is available in ASTM A572 Grade 50, ASTM A572 Grade 60, Grade 50 / S 355 GP, and ASTM A690 MARINER steel options.

The listed weight is approximately 12.20 lb/ft, or 18.2 kg/m.

Installation

Installation starts before the sheet pile is driven. The connector is threaded into the interlock while the sheet pile is out of the ground, then adjusted to the correct position.

Once positioned, the connector is tack or spot-welded in place. A 10-inch weld attaching the connector to the top of the sheet pile is typically sufficient. The sheet pile can then be driven or extracted with the connector attached.

Project Considerations

Contractors should review proper interlocking examples before installation. Profile adjustment in the interlock area can vary depending on size and rolling, and listed angles are approximate.
