PilePro® Bullhead® Connector for PZ/PZC Sheet Pile Systems

The PilePro® Bullhead® connector is designed for PZ/PZC sheet pile systems that require 3-way T-connections or 90° connections. It provides angular flexibility for complex wall configurations, making it useful where standard sheet pile layouts need a controlled connection point.

Connection Flexibility

Bullhead® is specialized for T-junction installations and can also support 90° connections with approximate angles from 50° to 130°. This flexibility helps accommodate wall layouts where the connection geometry may vary.

Material and Compatibility

The connector fits PZ/PZC profiles and weighs approximately 9.72 lb/ft, or 14.5 kg/m. It is manufactured from ASTM Grade 50/60 steel and ASTM A690 MARINER® steel, and is 100% melted and manufactured in the USA.

Installation

For installation, general interlocking guidelines call for a ball-to-socket or socket-to-ball connection. The connector is threaded into the interlock while the sheet pile is out of the ground, adjusted to the appropriate position, and then tack- or spot-welded in place.

A typical installation uses a 10″ weld at the top to attach the connector to the sheet pile. Once attached, the sheet can be driven or extracted normally with the connector in place.

Notes

Adjustment in the interlock area can vary due to size and rolling, and all angles are approximate. PilePro® connectors are protected by IP and are subject to technical modifications.
